Hours of Opening Damages and Losses Loan Periods Copyright Courier Service Location Map The CATHOLIC RESOURCE & INFORMATION SERVICE supports the mission of parishes, schools and other Church Agencies, in their pastoral outreach as communities of faith.
Membership is open to all and is free for all individual Catholics, Catholic Schools and parishes.
The collection includes books, journals, videos, CDs, cassettes, reference material, picture books, posters, slides and on-line information . The Service also houses the Indigenous Education Collection.
Resources are available in the areas of:
- Contemporary Religious Education
- Liturgical and Sacramental Practice
- Scripture and Theology
- Adult Faith Formation
- And the needs of the Catholic and wider community
HOURS OF OPENING
Monday 9am-6pm Tuesday 9am-5pm Wednesday 9am-5pm Thursday 9am-5pm Friday 9am-5pm
LOAN PERIODS
Audio visual materials- 2 weeks
Print materials - 4 weeks.
Extensions: Please notify staff before the due date.
Overdue fines: $1.00 per day for overdue A-V kits. $5.00 per day for videos.
COURIER SERVICE
Metropolitan borrowers are responsible for pick up and delivery (The Service uses APD Courier Service)
The Service pays for delivery to country borrowers using Australia Post. Country borrowers must pay the return freight and courier delivery.
Items sent by Courier are carefully packed. Please ensure that items are similarly protected for the return journey.
DAMAGES AND LOSSES
Audio-visual materials should be shown on regularly maintained equipment. The borrower in whose name an item is borrowed is held responsible for damages and losses, and may be charged for repairs or replacement.
COPYRIGHT
No resources may be used for commercial or fund raising purposes. All titles, unless otherwise stated, are protected by copyright.
